Is it sad that I am totally in love with a movie that came out in 1982?

I just watched Tron for the first time. Before that my only exposure to it was in Kingdom Hearts 2. I expected the CG to be cheesy and lame. But as I was watching it I kind of fell in love with it. No, its not cutting edge CG, but it has its own design and feeling. I love the fact that the 'rograms' were in black and white and then it was their suits that glowed. I can't explain why I like it... I just do. And I've heard that they are going to remake it, or at least some one has signed on to remake it. I think thats sad. I really like Bruce Boxleitner as Tron. Of course, I've liked him since watching repeats of Scarecrow and Mrs. King on PAX, and if I'd known he was in Tron I would have watched it earlier. After watching the movie I immediately got a screen capture and made a lj icon. I'm not sure if I'll will put it up here as I don't think this is necessarily the best forum for lj icons.
